Double sided plates for texture rubbings and clay patterns
Zart Pattern Rubbing Plates Pack of 4, supplier code GR093, is a pack of four double sided plastic rubbing plates from The Creative School Supply Company for rubbings and embossing clay.
The Creative School Supply Company describes these as sturdy and durable double sided plates made from thick plastic. The four plates give eight surfaces suitable for rubbing drawings and embossing clay. To add texture to artwork, place paper over a plate and rub over it with a drawing block, rubbing block, crayon or pencil to let the design emerge.
The supplier recommends a hard drawing medium for rubbings, and suggests layering designs for more effects. The plates can also be pressed into modelling clay to decorate Magiclay, Plasticine, oz clay and clay dough, and used with paper mache, giving one pack uses across drawing and modelling.
Pair the plates with rubbing blocks, crayons, drawing paper or a tub of modelling clay for embossing. Browse more drawing supplies, modelling clay, educational craft supplies and the wider Zart range.
