Toothed scrapers for dragging patterns through paint
Zart Paint Pattern Scrapers Set of 4, supplier code PT119, is a set of four scraper tools with handles from The Creative School Supply Company, used to make patterns in sand or paint.
The Creative School Supply Company describes these as scraper tools with handles for making fun patterns in sand or paint. The set has four assorted patterns. The supplier gives the width as 12.5cm across the tooth edge. Students drag a scraper through wet paint or sand, and the teeth leave lines, waves or textures behind.
Four different tooth edges give four different marks, so students can compare the patterns side by side and then combine several of them in one piece of work. Working in sand as well as paint gives another way to explore line and texture.
Pair the scrapers with patterned foam rollers, a palette, a few painting bowls and painting paper. Browse more of our painting accessories, painting supplies, the wider Zart range and art and craft supplies.
