Detailed mandala designs from a thick plastic stencil
Zart Mandala Stencils, supplier code GR166, is a pack of 6 thick plastic mandala stencils from The Creative School Supply Company, each 15 x 15cm, for painting, drawing and printmaking.
The Creative School Supply Company calls these stencils a tool for painting, drawing and printmaking. It says the thick plastic offers a quick way to create a detailed mandala design. The supplier describes them as great for middle primary to secondary students and adults. Each stencil is 15 x 15cm, in a pack of 6.
A mandala is slow to draw freehand, so the stencil lets students spend their time on colour and pattern rather than on getting the symmetry right. Each 15 x 15cm stencil can be traced, painted through or used as part of a printmaking process.
Mandala outlines can be coloured in with pencils, paint or pastels once traced. Dinosaur, flower and minibeast designs sit in the same Zart range, and texture sheets suit rubbings. Browse stencils, educational craft supplies, art and craft supplies and Zart.
