Aluminium mesh to shape, wrap and build armatures
Zart Flex-It Mesh 50cm x 3m, supplier code WG921, is an aluminium sculpting mesh from The Creative School Supply Company, listed by the supplier as Flex-it Mesh Medium.
The Creative School Supply Company describes Flex-it Mesh as an aluminium sculpting medium. Its diamond weave will contract and expand, making it flexible to shape, mould and manipulate. Students can twist and wrap it around objects to create impressions, or use it as an armature for art and craft modelling projects.
Finished pieces may be left plain, or covered with Modroc, a plaster impregnated bandage, or another modelling medium. The mesh can also be used as a decorative element on 3D artworks, as the supplier notes, as well as an armature for art and craft modelling projects.
Cover the mesh with Artroc plaster bandages, or pair it with armature wire. Browse more papier mache craft supplies, educational craft supplies, art and craft supplies and the Zart range.
