Press and keep flowers, herbs and leaves from outdoor finds
The Zart Discovery Flower Press Kit, supplier code TQ775, is a 168 x 160mm flower press kit from The Creative School Supply Company for pressing and preserving flowers, herbs and leaves.
The Creative School Supply Company describes pressing as an easy way of preserving the colours and shapes of the many varieties of flowers, herbs and leaves. It suggests children press flora brought from home or found while out walking and exploring. The kit includes 10 sheets of grey cardboard and 12 pieces of white cotton paper, and the supplier lists the kit size as 168 x 160mm.
The layering sheets come in the kit, so pressing can start as soon as something is picked. Students can bring in leaves from a garden or collect flowers on a walk, then keep their colours and shapes in a flat, pressed form, as the supplier describes it.
Zart cover paper, craft glue and glue sticks are listed separately for mounting pressed pieces on card. Browse educational craft supplies, art and craft supplies, craft papers, classroom supplies and Zart.
