Pre-cut Christmas shapes to thread with yarn and beads
Zart Christmas Cut-Out Threading Cards Pack of 10, supplier code CB747, are pre-cut cards in a bauble and a tree design that students thread with yarn for a festive textile activity.
The Creative School Supply Company, maker of Zart, lists two designs in the pack: a circle (bauble) and a triangle (tree). Students thread an assortment of yarns around and across the pre-cut shape to create what the supplier calls a dreamcatcher-like effect. Beads can be added for further interest, and the card can be used plain or coloured first.
Zart describes the activity as suitable for all ages and abilities. Colouring the card before threading, with Slicks paint sticks, pens or markers, lets students plan colour across the whole piece, and the yarn pattern then adds texture on top of the card.
The yarn and the beads do most of the visual work here. Choose yarn from knitting craft supplies and beads from beading supplies, colour the card with craft markers, and see more festive projects in the Zart range.
