Sturdy card rings with inner circles for mobile art
Zart Cardboard Rings and Circles Pack of 50, supplier code CB852, are sturdy cardboard rings that each come with an inner circle, ready to use as the starting point for many creative artworks.
The Creative School Supply Company, the maker behind Zart, describes each piece as a sturdy cardboard ring with an inner circle. The brand suggests using them to create fun and fantastic mobile art, decorated with collage media, embossing foils, sequins and other decorative media. The ring and its inner circle give students two surfaces to work on within the one artwork.
A plain cardboard base keeps the focus on decoration. Students can layer collage papers, press embossing foil or add sequins without cutting a shape first, which leaves more of the lesson for design choices about colour, texture and pattern. Finished pieces can then be hung together as mobile art.
Add sparkle with craft sequins and fix collage pieces with craft glues. More card bases sit in craft cardboards, and the full Zart range covers the rest of the art room.
