Self-standing diorama boxes for miniature worlds
Zart Cardboard Diorama Pack of 10, supplier code BW826, are self-assembly diorama boxes from The Creative School Supply Company made from white 1mm thick board.
The Creative School Supply Company describes each diorama as a stage for a miniature world, an ecosystem, an imagined landscape or a moment captured in time. Each assembled box measures 23cm high, 20cm wide and 8cm deep, with a pre-cut window of 21 x 18cm. The supplier says models can be hung from the lid or stuck to the sides, and skewers can be poked through the walls.
The supplier notes that dioramas combine construction, modelling, painting and drawing in one project, and that the challenge of creating a 3D world helps students develop problem solving and conceptualisation skills and learn about composition and design. The outer shell can be decorated too, so the box becomes part of the artwork.
Each self-standing box gives students a stage for a miniature world. Gather tubes, card scraps and glue before the build starts. See more cardboard craft, craft adhesives, educational craft supplies and the Zart range.
