Pre-sewn calico puppets ready to trim, turn and decorate
Zart Calico Hand Puppets Pack of 10, supplier code MT092, are pre-sewn calico hand puppets from The Creative School Supply Company, each sized 270 x 260mm and ready for students to decorate.
Zart describes the puppets as pre-sewn, so the work left to do is short and simple. Students trim and clip the seams, turn the calico inside out, and then decorate the puppet. The supplier gives the size of each puppet as 270 x 260mm, and there are 10 puppets in the pack, each a blank calico surface waiting for a character.
With the sewing already done, a lesson can move straight to design and decoration rather than construction. Zart also gives washing advice for the finished puppets: wash in cold water only to avoid shrinkage, and hand wash or use a gentle machine cycle. That helps a decorated puppet keep its shape and size.
Each puppet in this pack starts as plain calico, ready for a student's own design. The same calico line includes teddy bears, stockings and small bags. Browse calico bags, craft shapes and blanks, colour in craft paints and the full Zart range.
