A4 calico banner with dowel and string attached
The Zart Calico Banner A4, supplier code MTZ116, is a blank calico banner with a dowel rod and string attached, made for art, textiles and classroom activities.
Zart suggests students create themed banners for Christmas or Easter, or make one as a keepsake or gift. The brand says the banners can be easily stitched using threads, yarns and wool, decorated with Slicks, fabric markers and EverZart pens, and embellished with buttons, charms, ribbons and fabric shapes. With the dowel and string already attached, a finished banner is ready to hang.
The A4 size keeps a project achievable for one student in a lesson or two, while still leaving room to combine drawing, stitching and embellishment on a single piece. Because hanging hardware is attached, the finished work can go straight onto a wall or door without extra making.
A blank banner brings drawing, stitching and embellishing together in one piece. Gather thread from knitting and thread supplies, colour with craft markers, and find more calico blanks in calico bags and the Zart range.
