Thick oil pastels made to stand up to classroom use
Zart Basics Oil Pastels Large Pack of 12, supplier code PS037, is a set of 12 assorted colour oil pastels, each 10mm in diameter and 70mm long, for classrooms, art rooms and libraries.
The Creative School Supply Company says these Basics Oil Pastels Large glide on smoothly and give excellent coverage. The supplier describes them as thicker than standard oil pastels and more breakage-resistant, which is why it pitches them at classrooms, art rooms and libraries. Each pastel measures 10mm in diameter and 70mm long, and this set holds 12 assorted colours.
The supplier's point is durability: a thicker pastel that resists breakage, made for shared classroom sets. The set of 12 is the smallest pack in the range. The supplier also sells sets of 24 and 48, and a class pack of 432 with 18 each of 24 colours.
Mega also lists fluoro and skin tone packs of 12. Each pastel is 10mm across. Browse oil pastels, the craft pastels range, paper in craft and art paper and the full Zart catalogue.
