The Creative School Supply Company makes Zart Basics blacklead pencils in four single grades, sold in packs of 20. It describes the 6B grade as great for shading. For comparison, the supplier calls HB ideal for line work, stippling and writing, 2B a soft drawing pencil, and 4B softer and darker than 2B. The supplier states the pencils are made from recycled and reclaimed wood.
