A soft silver foil roll for embossing and debossing
The Zart Aluminium Embossing Foil, supplier code ME003, is a 53cm x 1m roll of silver aluminium foil, 0.1mm (100 micron) thick, for embossed designs in the art room and classroom.
Zart describes aluminium embossing foil as a versatile decorative material for both the art room and the classroom. Students press a design into the front with a ball point pen or soft pencil to deboss it, or draw into the back of the foil to raise an embossed surface. The roll format lets you cut pieces to whatever size a project needs.
The foil cuts easily with regular scissors, according to Zart, and it can also be folded, manipulated and scored. Students mark it with a ball point pen or soft pencil, both suggested by the supplier. Zart describes the 0.1mm foil as soft, so intricate designs can be debossed into it.
For pre-cut sheets, Zart also makes silver and coloured A4 packs in the same range. Find them in the Zart range, with scissors in craft scissors, plus craft and art paper and educational craft supplies.
