A 61 x 100cm roll of clear acetate for printmaking
The Zart Heavyweight Acetate 0.5mm, supplier code AE061, is a 61 x 100cm roll of clear heavyweight acetate for dry point etching, monoprinting and art room construction.
The Creative School Supply Company describes this clear heavyweight acetate as ideal for dry point etching and monoprinting. It can also serve as a palette for printing ink or acrylic paint, and the supplier notes that ink rolls out easily with a hard rubber roller. Other listed uses are construction, creating stencils or masks, and making your own painting tools.
The supplier advises cutting acetate with a knife rather than scissors, and using a steel ruler or an acrylic cutting ruler for straight lines. The 0.5mm roll gives flexibility in project size, because you cut each piece to the dimensions the work needs.
A4 and A3 packs of the same 0.5mm acetate are also available. Find rollers in craft painting rollers, a surface in cutting mats, the educational craft supplies range and more from Zart.
