A Round Plate With 50 mm Deep Sides
Connoisseur 52033 is a 200 mm round deep plate with straight 50 mm high sides, in white reinforced porcelain and sold as a pack of 6, sitting halfway between a plate and a shallow baking dish.
The upright walls give it a contemporary, flat bottomed look and keep saucy food in place: risotto, curries, shakshuka, pasta bakes or a poke bowl presented flat. Weatherdon list it as reinforced porcelain, thermal shock resistant, and microwaveable and dishwasher safe.
Because the sides are vertical rather than flared, the plate presents a clean, modern outline on the pass. Cafes use this shape for brunch dishes and share plates where a coupe would let the sauce run to the edge. Weatherdon do not list it as oven safe, so finish dishes in a separate tray.
