The Connoisseur Berlin 510450 is a 450 ml stemless wine glass, the largest capacity in the Berlin range, with a rounded egg-shaped bowl that sits straight on the table.
Without a stem there is nothing to knock over or snap in a crowded rooftop bar, on a windy terrace or when a tub of glasses goes back to the glass washer. Weatherdon say its classic design and sturdy base mean less breakage and easier storage, and present it as a glass for wine, water or mocktails.
At 110 mm tall it slides into low racks and cupboards that a stemmed wine glass would not, and the wide bowl gives a generous pour of red or white. The glass is lead free crystal and can go in the dishwasher, according to Weatherdon.
