Connoisseur 52003 is the 180 mm A-La-Carte bowl, which Weatherdon suggest for cereals or soups, supplied in a pack of 6 in plain white reinforced porcelain.
This is the general purpose bowl of the A-La-Carte range: a gently flared shape on a small foot, wide enough for a serve of muesli at the breakfast buffet or a cup of soup at lunch. Weatherdon list the porcelain as reinforced and thermal shock resistant, and say it is microwaveable and dishwasher safe, so a bowl can go from the reheating microwave to the dish rack without a change of crockery.
Six to a pack suits a small cafe or boardroom kitchen topping up a shelf, while larger venues can order several packs to match an existing A-La-Carte set. For pasta or shared salads the 230 mm deep bowl is the bigger choice; for rice and noodles there is the taller 160 mm noodle bowl.
