A Light Crook Handle Umbrella for Everyday Loans
Compass 7217011 is the standard black umbrella in the Compass range, a lighter city style umbrella with a crook handle, sold in a pack of 36 for reception desks and venues that lend umbrellas every wet day.
Weatherdon describe it as an automatic straight City Executive umbrella. At 365 g and 82 cm closed, it is easy to hand to a guest heading out for the evening or to keep in a stand by the office door. The crook handle hooks over an arm or a chair back, and a closing strap keeps the canopy tidy between uses.
The 105 cm canopy is black polyester over fibreglass ribs, with a sturdy steel shaft and windproof features listed by Weatherdon. The automatic opening means one hand is enough to put it up.
Because umbrellas on loan do not always come back, a carton of 36 is a practical way to keep the stand full through a season. For a bigger two person canopy, see the Compass large umbrella.
