A slim 30 litre soft close pedal bin for kitchenettes
Compass 7697300 is a 30 L rectangular pedal bin in brushed stainless steel with a soft close lid, a stay-open position when the lid is lifted by hand to 90 degrees, and a removable plastic liner. It measures 330 W x 260 D x 620 H mm.
The narrow 260 mm depth is what makes this size useful. It slips into the gap at the end of a kitchenette bench, beside a fridge or under a window in a staff room without sticking out into the walkway, while still holding a standard day's worth of rubbish for a small team. Weatherdon describe the brushed finish as fingerprint resistant, and the soft close lid settles down quietly instead of banging shut after each press of the pedal.
When the bag needs changing, lift the lid by hand until it reaches 90 degrees and it stays up on its own, leaving both hands free to pull out the plastic liner. For a busier kitchen, the 50 L version of this bin is 7697500.
