Six Bathroom Scales That Never Need a Battery Change
This pack of six Compass 727121 black glass bathroom scales is for hotels and serviced apartments fitting out a floor of rooms with a scale that powers itself from a tap on the centre button.
Weatherdon describe the 727121 as battery-free: a tap on the central button generates the power for the reading, so there is no coin cell to buy, fit or find flat at check-in. The platform is 28 x 28 cm of 6 mm safety glass with rounded edges, in Weatherdon's words, over four sensors. A large LCD shows weight in kilograms or pounds, in steps of 0.1 kg or 0.2 lb, up to 180 kg.
Battery changes are a small job that turns into a steady trickle of maintenance requests across a whole property. A self-powered scale removes that item from the housekeeping checklist. The black glass top and silver button look at home in a modern guest bathroom, and the square footprint tucks beside a vanity or under a towel rail.
Weatherdon give a 1 year warranty. See more body weight scales, hospitality amenities and the Compass range.
