A tall 30 litre pedal bin for kitchens that fill bins fast
Compass 769930 is the largest round stainless pedal bin in this Compass range: 30 L and 295 Dia x 650 H mm. A plastic bag liner sits inside and a handle is fitted for carrying.
Its height is what sets it apart. At 650 mm the lid sits close to bench height, so waste is dropped in without stooping, and the narrow 295 mm footprint keeps it out of walkways in a galley kitchen or beside a coffee machine. Busy staff kitchens, cafes and function rooms that would empty a 20 L bin several times a day are where it earns its place.
Plan for the open height: Weatherdon give 950 mm with the lid raised, so it will not suit a spot under a low shelf or overhead cupboard. Weatherdon's photos show it from front, back and above, with the pedal at the front and a lid hinge at the rear. Inside, the liner holds the bag and lifts out with it.
For bags, see bin liners. More large bins are in commercial and large bins, plus the full Compass range.
