A 62 litre swing top bin that converts to an open bin
Compass 769408 is a tall round 62 L bin with a 201 grade stainless steel swing lid, a galvanised liner and a rubber base, standing 380 mm across and 730 mm high.
The swing flap hides the contents from view while still taking rubbish with a push, and the 255 mm opening is wide enough for takeaway containers and paper towel bundles. Weatherdon note that the swing mechanism can be unbolted, which turns the same bin into a standard open top unit if a site later prefers that style.
Inside, a galvanised metal liner carries the load so the brushed outer shell stays clean when the bag is lifted out. The rubber base keeps the bin from scraping hard floors. Weatherdon class it for indoor use, so it belongs in foyers, lift lobbies, staff kitchens and hotel corridors rather than outside.
Compare it with the other large bins in Commercial Large Waste Bins, see the full Rubbish Bins range, or browse everything from Compass.
