A dustpan that stays put while you sweep
Compass 753113 is a blue and grey dustpan and brush set with thick nylon bristles and a soft rubber lip on the pan that grips the floor to hold it in place while you sweep.
Weatherdon give the set as 340 L x 225 W x 110 H mm with the brush clipped onto the pan. The photos show a dark grey pan with an aqua blue rubber edge, and a matching grey handled brush with aqua bristles that nests against the back of the pan. A hanging hook lets the pair go up on a hook in a cleaners cupboard instead of lying on the floor.
The rubber lip is the useful detail. A hard plastic pan edge tends to skate away from the brush and leave a line of grit behind, while a soft edge sits flat on tiles, vinyl and timber so the last of the dust goes in. It is a small, quick tool for crumbs in a staff kitchen, spills behind reception or the sweep after a meeting room clean.
Pair it with a broom and bucket from the Compass range. See Dustpan and Brush Sets, Cleaning Equipment and Compass.
