Full Size Three Shelf Cart With a 60 kg Base Shelf
Compass 722495B is the full size black three tier utility cart, 111 cm long, for moving heavier loads such as crockery tubs, linen or stock through kitchens, wards and back corridors.
Weatherdon describe it as a multi-purpose mobile trolley in polypropylene, with three shelves on four swivel casters with PVC wheels. Each level has its own load limit: 10 kg on the top shelf, 10 kg on the middle and 60 kg on the bottom. Assembled it measures 111 L x 51 W x 94 H cm and weighs 14 kg. It arrives for self assembly, and Weatherdon's instruction sheet, attached on this page, shows the wheels tapped in with a rubber mallet and the pillars and trays dropped into place.
The weight limits are what to plan around: the long bottom shelf takes the bulk, while the upper two suit lighter items at hand height. Moulded handles at each end of the top tray give a grip for pushing from either side. If floor space is tight, the compact 7224941 is 85 cm long with the same shelf ratings.
