A padded black satin hanger for knits and fine fabrics
Compass 59103 is a curved hook hanger wrapped in black satin over foam padding and finished with a bow, measuring 390 L x 40 W x 130 H mm and sold in a pack of 100.
Timber hangers have hard, narrow edges that can stretch the shoulders of a knit or leave a ridge in silk. A padded satin hanger spreads the weight over a rounded, soft surface instead, which is why it suits cardigans, blouses, evening wear and lingerie. At 40 mm wide it is much fuller than a wooden hanger, and the curved shape follows the line of the shoulders.
Black satin keeps a dark wardrobe or dressing room looking uniform and does not show marks as readily as a pale fabric. There is a metal hook at the crown and a small bow tied below it. It has no trouser bar or clips, so pair it with a clip hanger for skirts and trousers.
