Precision Marks, Every Time - The Pencil Australia Has Trusted for Decades
Columbia Copperplate 2B pencils deliver a smooth, consistent graphite line that makes writing, sketching, and shading a genuine pleasure.
The Copperplate range is Columbia's flagship pencil line, instantly recognisable by its classic red hexagonal barrel and dark brown cap. The 2B grade offers a slightly softer lead that lays down rich, even marks without dragging across the page. The hexagonal profile keeps the pencil from rolling off desks and gives writers a comfortable, secure grip during long sessions. Each box contains 20 pencils, making it a practical choice for classrooms, studios, and busy offices.
Columbia has engineered Copperplate pencils with high-quality graphite that sharpens cleanly and resists crumbling - meaning fewer broken tips and less wasted lead. The 2B grade suits a wide range of tasks, from everyday note-taking to detailed drawing and tonal shading, giving one pencil genuine versatility across a workday or curriculum.
With over 80 years in Australian stationery, Columbia is a name office managers and teachers return to again and again. Stock a box of 20 and keep desks productive all term or quarter.
