Artline Professional Carpenter Pencil Medium Red, Box of 50
This box of 50 red Artline Professional Series carpenter pencils carries a medium strength lead according to ACCO, for general carpentry marking on timber, plaster and brickwork.
In ACCO's words the pencil is built for general carpentry requirements and its lead is made for marking hardwoods, plastered walls and brickwork. The box ACCO shows prints writes on timber, plasterboard, brickwork and a variety of different surfaces, and also prints industrial grade 6H lead, the same wording as the hard box, while ACCO's listing says medium strength.
The red flat barrel is easy to spot on a bench or in sawdust, and the colour sets it apart from the green hard grade pencil on a shared bench. A box of 50 covers a crew for a long stretch of framing and fit out work.
