Turn a Carl Trimmer into a Perforator
The Carl B-02 is a perforating blade: instead of a clean cut it leaves a line of small slits, so the sheet can be torn along it later.
The round blade has a notched edge and a hexagonal centre, and is printed "Craft Blade B-02". ACCO's compatibility list covers four Carl trimmers, the RT-200, RT-218, DC-212 and DC-218, and their spec table gives a cutting capacity of 3 sheets. That is fewer than the straight blade, because perforating works the paper harder.
Perforated lines are what make raffle tickets, tear-off reply slips, coupons, rosters with a cut-off section and craft cards with a fold or tear line. Swap the B-02 in for the run, then go back to the straight B-01 for normal trimming.
ACCO describe it as easy to install and say it is built for safe handling, but treat the edge with care when changing it.
