Spare Mats for the Carl RT-218 and DC-218
The P-DC218 pack gives Carl RT-218 and DC-218 owners two fresh cutting mats to fit under the blade when the old strip is worn.
These trimmers take a longer mat than Carl's A4 models, so the P-DC218 is its own code rather than a shared part. ACCO list it for the RT-218 and DC-218 only. The blade on these machines can run a straight or perforating wheel, and both cut into this strip, so heavy perforating work wears it too.
A tired mat shows itself as a clean top sheet with a frayed or uncut bottom sheet. Lift the old strip out, press the new one into the channel and the trimmer is ready again. With 2 in the pack, the spare can wait in the trimmer's drawer until it is needed.
If the blade is also tired, Carl's B-01 straight and B-02 perforating blades are listed by ACCO for the same two trimmers.
