The Everyday Straight Blade for Carl Trimmers
Carl B-01 is the straight replacement blade for the trimmers that take Carl's round craft blades, giving a clean, plain cut edge.
ACCO list it for the DC-212, DC-218, RT-200 and RT-218 trimmers. The blister card in our photo also prints the PRT-100 paper trimmer and the CC-10 craft cutter, which is where the CC10 in our title comes from, and gives the blade as a 28mm craft blade. ACCO's spec table lists a cutting capacity of 5 sheets.
The blade is held in a clear cartridge that lifts out of the cutting head, so a change takes a minute. Once a blade is dull you will notice fibres along the edge or sheets that drag rather than slice, especially on glossy stock.
The same trimmers accept the B-02 perforating blade, so many users keep one of each.
