Fewer Cartridge Changes On A Busy Colour Laser
The Brother TN-645XLC is the genuine high yield cyan toner for the Brother HL-L8430CDW, MFC-L8730CDW, MFC-L8930CDW and MFC-L8970CDW colour lasers, rated by Brother at up to 4,500 pages.
Brother measures that figure to ISO/IEC 19798, which uses a fixed set of test documents rather than a coverage percentage. Real world yield moves with what you actually print, so a page of dense graphics will use more toner than a page of plain text. Brother lists the same four machines for the standard TN645 cartridge and for this high yield one, so the difference between the tiers is the page rating, not the fit.
It is one of four cartridges in the set, and Brother lists the same four machines for every one of them. Alongside the toner Brother lists the DR645CL drum, the BU635CL belt and the WT229CL waste toner box for these printers, so the consumables side of these machines is the toner plus those three parts.
The two machines we stock that take it are the MFC-L8730CDW and the MFC-L8930CDW. The rest of the Brother toner range is here, and the DR645CL drum sits alongside it.
