Industrial Barcode Printing At 356 mm Per Second
The Brother TJ-4420TN is a Titan series industrial label printer: 203dpi, up to 356 mm per second, printing up to 104mm wide, with a 600m ribbon capacity.
It runs both thermal transfer and direct thermal, taking ribbon 20mm to 114mm wide up to 600m long in wax, resin or a wax and resin mix, wound inside or outside. Roll width runs 20mm to 120mm, narrowing to 20mm to 114mm in cutter mode. Maximum print length is 25,400mm. The control panel is an LCD display with a status LED.
Emulation is FBPL-EZD, compatible with FBPL II, EPL II, ZPL II and DPL, so it can usually be dropped into a system already sending label data to another brand of industrial printer. Memory is 256MB RAM and 512MB flash. A cutter, part PA-CU-005, and an auto label peeler, part PA-LP-006, are both available.
