The Brother TD-4750TNWBP is a four inch desktop label printer with Brother's label peeler fitted from the factory that runs both thermal transfer and direct thermal, printing up to 105.7mm wide at 300dpi and up to 152.4 mm per second.
Thermal transfer needs a ribbon and gives a harder, longer lasting mark; direct thermal needs none. Media runs 20mm to 112mm wide and up to 11,430mm long. The control panel is 6 buttons, a three-colour LED and a 58mm colour LCD. Emulation is FBPL-EZD, covering EPL, ZPL, ZPL II and DPL, and Brother supplies BarTender Ultra Lite.
The peeler is fitted in the factory rather than added later, so labels present backing-free from the first run. One trade to know: Brother lists the tear bar as not applicable on the peeler variant, and the release mode becomes peeler rather than continuous and tear off. Fitted depth is 328mm, weight 3.18 kg.
