Brother HSe-221E Heat Shrink Tube Cassette 9mm x 1.5m Black on White
Printed heat shrink tube for permanent cable and wire identification, sized to fit conductors from 1.6mm to 5.4mm in diameter. Unlike an adhesive label, a shrunk tube cannot peel, curl or slide off a cable, which is why it is the standard for switchboards, comms racks and machinery looms that get inspected years after installation.
Get the size right by measuring the cable, not the tube. This cassette is 9mm across when flat, and it shrinks at a 3:1 ratio onto anything between 1.6mm and 5.4mm in diameter. A cable thinner than 1.6mm will not be gripped once shrunk, and one thicker than 5.4mm will not let the tube slide on. Brother rates the tube to UL 224, 600 volts and 125 degrees Celsius.
The cassette holds 1.5m of tube and drops into any Brother P-touch tool that accepts HSe heat shrink cassettes. In our range that is six machines: the PT-E310BTVP, PT-E560BTVP, PT-P700, PT-P750W, PT-P900W and PT-P950NW. The PT-D210, PT-P300BT, PT-D460BT, PT-D610BT, PT-P710BT, PT-P910BT and PT-E920BT do not take heat shrink tube at all.
