The Brother CS-A3301 is a genuine carrier sheet that lets fragile, undersized, torn or oversized documents pass safely through the automatic document feeder of a compatible Brother ADS scanner.
Sheet-fed scanners are designed around flat, standard-weight paper. Receipts, photographs, newspaper clippings, ID cards, thin carbon copies and pages that have already been torn and taped are exactly the originals that jam, skew or come out damaged. The carrier sheet holds the document flat inside a clear protective sleeve, giving the rollers a consistent, predictable item to grip and transport.
The sleeve is optically clear, so scan quality is unaffected, and it presents the same size and stiffness to the feed mechanism every time. It also enables folded A3 scanning on an A4 scanner, where the software stitches the two halves back into a single wide page.
