The Brother 402 daisy wheel carries the Prestige 10/12 typestyle for Brother daisywheel typewriters and word processors.
A daisy wheel is the printing element itself - the spoked disc that carries every character. It wears with use, and when it does the symptoms are unmistakable: characters that print light or broken, letters sitting slightly off the baseline, or one particular character that has gone soft while the rest are fine.
