A Blue InPower Stapler With Its Agent Named
Bostitch 311148 is the blue and black InPower full strip stapler, rated by ACCO at up to 20 sheets of 80 gsm paper and loaded with 26/6 staples.
The blue body and black top make it easy to spot on a shared bench or in a classroom. Inside is the same spring mechanism as the rest of the InPower family: Bostitch call it One-Finger, meaning the spring does the work and a light press sets the staple. ACCO add No-Jam technology, a soft rubber grip and a staple remover that flips out from the back.
Unlike most ACCO listings, one of ACCO's own images for 311148 names the antimicrobial treatment: it says the product is protected with Agion silver ion-based agent. The fine print on that same image says the treatment does not protect users or others. ACCO's text describes the feature as built-in properties that protect against bacteria growth on the stapler.
Spare staples ride in the channel, the base opens out for pinboard tacking, and the stapler stands upright when not in use. ACCO list a 3 year warranty.
