The Original Blue Putty For Walls And Desks
Bostik Blu Tack 371351 is a single 75g pack of the original blue reusable adhesive, the putty Bostik describe as a simple alternative to drawing pins and sticky tape for home, school and office.
Tear off a piece, roll it into a ball and press it between the item and the surface. Bostik say it holds posters, photos, notices and other light items without permanent marks when used correctly, and it can be lifted and reused many times. It stays permanently plastic, so it does not set hard in the pack. Bostik also suggest everyday fixes such as levelling a picture frame, steadying a wobbly table or lifting fluff off clothing.
A few cautions from Bostik's technical sheet are worth knowing. The grip increases over the months, so peel it off slowly after a long time. On some surfaces it can leave a slight oily mark, it may pull paint from painted plaster, and it is not meant for heavy objects: Bostik give 0.5g holding 105g. To remove leftovers, dab them with a fresh ball of Blu Tack. The full data sheet is attached below.
