An Everyday Archive Box That Keeps Its Lid
The Bankers Box 713 is a medium-duty archive box with the lid hinged to the carton, sold as a pack of 10 for offices that open and close their stored files often enough that loose lids go astray.
Fellowes pitch the 713 as an economical box for everyday medium-duty use. The flip-top lid stays attached along one edge, so you lift it, check a file and drop it shut again, and the hand holes on each end make it easy to carry to and from the shelf. The box is printed EXTRA STRENGTH on the side, and Fellowes back that with a double layer of board under the base and double wall ends.
Fellowes give a maximum load of 30kg and say the boxes stack 8 units high. That suits annual tax records, HR files and project paperwork that is kept for years but still pulled out from time to time.
