Avery describes these as weather resistant labels for indoor and outdoor use that gently remove without leaving residue behind, for temporary industrial labelling: stock takes, pallet identification, organising workshops and tools.
What Avery actually publishes. Avery publishes resistance to UV and oil and dirt for this code and a temperature range of -20 to +80 degrees Celsius. Avery names outdoor applications for this code. They also make a weather claim for it, and it is worth being exact about how far it goes: their word is resistant, and they never use a stronger one. The removability claim is unconditional as published: it does not leave residue when removed. Avery puts no time limit on that anywhere.
What Avery does not publish for this code. No claim about chemicals, solvents, abrasion and moisture. They also publish no material weight, no adhesive peel figure, no thickness and no list of the surfaces the adhesive is rated for. None of that is stated here.
What these are for. Temporary equipment and facility labelling, stock takes and cyclical counts and temporary pallet identification, and similar identification work.
Avery software code L4715REV. It sits in our Avery label range, alongside the wider label supplies selection, everything else we carry from Avery and the rest of the catalogue.
