Avery's claim for the Crystal Clear range is that the label will virtually disappear on the surface. Virtually is their word, and it is the honest one: the word invisible appears nowhere on Avery's site.
What Avery actually publishes. Avery's wording for the finish is 100 percent transparent, and that the label will virtually disappear on the surface. Avery publishes tearing, dirt, oil and splashes performance for this code. Avery's Jam-Free claim is on this code's page - it is their claim, not a measurement. On where it goes, Avery's own wording is: The labels can also be used on glass polished surfaces, plastic or metal surfaces - and nothing wider than that.
What Avery does not publish for this code. There is no claim about waterproof, water, UV, temperature, outdoor use and weather, no adhesive strength figure and no thickness, and no immersion or exposure rating of any kind. None of that is stated here.
A correction. Our own listing for this code claimed that the label is invisible. Avery publishes none of that for it, so it has been removed.
What these are for. Addressing envelopes where the label should not show, product and gift packaging and jars, bottles and polished containers, and similar work.
