Manilla is the plain, uncoated board these have always been made from. Avery publishes one capacity figure for the range and it is a thickness, not a sheet count: the folder is pre-scored to accommodate up to 25mm of paper. We are not going to convert that into a number of sheets for you, because Avery does not.
On what the colour means: nothing, unless you decide it does. Avery publishes one sentence about colour across this whole range, with the colour name swapped in - that coloured folders are a good way to colour code your documents. There is no Avery scheme, no priority order, no department convention and no Australian filing standard behind any of it.
Avery's own reason for the matt finish is not the one this listing used to give: they say it suits metallic and coloured pens, and they sell these for projects and filing. They do not describe them as presentation folders and they say nothing about reflections.
A correction. Our own listing for this code claimed that it is made for healthcare and children's services filing, that the matt finish avoids reflections and that it is a premium presentation folder rather than a filing folder. None of it is published by Avery, so it has been removed.
Avery publishes no tear, burst or archival rating for manilla, no sheet capacity, and nothing about how long a folder lasts in use. The board weight is the only durability figure there is, which is why it leads this listing.
