100 white Unitube bases on their own. Non-adhesive, so this one relies on the file's own internal gusset rather than sticking to the cover.
The unitube is the non-adhesive version. Instead of sticking to the cover it uses a plastic tube that requires an internal gusset inside the file, which means it will not work in a plain flat manilla folder. Avery positions it for archiving and permanent storage, where the tubeclip is positioned for frequently accessed documents.
Avery publishes one dimension for it and no others: the tube length is 10.5cm. Nothing is published about how the tube is retained beyond the gusset requirement, so that is all we are going to say about it.
Avery's own wording is to use it with U pieces and compressor bars for gusseted files. They stop short of stating that the tubeclip components are cross compatible, so neither do we. The complete unitube set is Avery code 44021.
