How it goes on, and the instruction we were missing. Avery's own line is just write, peel and stick, with no iron. The adhesive is permanent - not heat activated, which is what this listing used to say. Avery asks you to allow the label to set for 24 hours before washing, and their durability claim is that the labels withstand multiple washing machine and dryer cycles. No wash count, no temperature, no cycle limit and no fabric exclusions are published, and the individual shape sizes are not published either.
A correction. Our own listing for this code claimed that the adhesive is heat activated and that it survives washing without peeling, fading or curling. Avery publishes none of that, so it has been removed.
Avery publishes no adhesive strength for these and nothing about which surfaces they hold on. They publish no size for this code either - the pack is sold as assorted shapes. Where they are silent, so are we.
