A box of 100 buff shipping tags at 108 x 54mm, Avery's size 4. Manilla board with a reinforced hole and a smooth writing surface on both sides. Supplied unstrung.
They come unstrung, which is the thing worth knowing before you order. No string or wire is in the box. Avery leaves the fastening to you, so the same tag works with string, wire, a cable tie or whatever your line already uses. If you need tags that arrive ready to hang, this is not that product.
Avery numbers the range 1 to 8 and the tag grows with the number: size 1 is 70 x 35mm, size 2 82 x 41mm, size 3 96 x 48mm, size 4 108 x 54mm, size 5 120 x 60mm, size 6 134 x 67mm, size 7 146 x 73mm and size 8 160 x 80mm. At 108 x 54mm a size 4 gives you enough face for a reference, a name and a short instruction, and the surface takes pen, marker or a printed label on either side.
Size 4 comes in 7 colours: Buff, Red, Blue, Green, Yellow, Pink and White. Colour is a sorting aid rather than anything printed, so a run of tags can be told apart across a bench or a loading dock without reading them.
