Match coins to their values and build the domino chain
Learning Can Be Fun Australian Money Dominoes, supplier code EVLAMDO, is a dominoes game featuring 40 different values shown as both numerals and Australian coins.
Learning Can Be Fun explains that counting and recognising money helps young children develop early numeracy skills and financial literacy while learning to add and subtract. Young learners practise through play-based learning as they match the values and connect the dominoes. The set includes 40 dominoes covering 40 money values, plus an activity guide.
Matching a coin picture to the right numeral, or one value to another, asks children to read money in two forms. The familiar dominoes format means children can join in quickly, and the activity guide gives adults more ways to use the set beyond a standard game.
For a group money game in the same range, Australian Money Bingo is listed separately with bingo cards and counters. Browse the Learning Can Be Fun range, more educational games, maths equipment and teacher resources.
