Set the AM 2 Into the Wall, Not On It
The recess kit is for corridors, washrooms and other tight spots where an AeraMax Pro AM 2 should sit almost flush with the wall instead of standing out from it.
Surface mounted, the AM 2 stands 104mm off the wall by Fellowes' figures. Fitted in this recess pan, Fellowes say it sits only 34mm from the wall, which suits narrow hallways and smaller restrooms where people pass close by. It is the third way to mount the AM 2, next to the standard wall mount and the floor stand.
This is a building job. Fellowes describe the kit as hardwired, with professional installation required, so plan it with your electrician or fit-out contractor and follow the instructions in the box.
The kit holds the white recess pan, the screws needed, a mounting template and an instruction manual. The purifier and its filters are not included.
