The Slim True HEPA Panel for the AeraMax DX5
When the filter light comes on in a small AeraMax DX5, this tall, narrow True HEPA panel is the part that goes back in behind the rear cover.
Fellowes Australia list item 9287001 as the replacement True HEPA filter for the AeraMax DX5. The box itself goes further and is printed "works with AeraMax 90, 100, DB5 and DX5", which is why our title names the DB5 as well. Each box holds one filter.
Fellowes state that the filter captures 99.97% of airborne particles as small as 0.3 microns. The media carries their AeraSafe antimicrobial treatment, which Fellowes describe as built-in protection from the growth of odour causing bacteria, mildew and fungi on the filter. They suggest a change roughly every 12 months with normal use.
It is a slim panel, about 419 x 116 x 32 mm by Fellowes' figures (16.5 x 4.5625 x 1.25 inches). The larger DX95 takes its own, much wider filter, and the DX5 also has a separate carbon filter that is changed more often.
