The Standard Replacement Filter for the AM 2
Fellowes 9544501 is the hybrid filter that makes up the standard filter configuration of the AeraMax Pro AM 2, pairing a True HEPA half with an activated carbon half in a single replacement.
If your AM 2 has been running on the filter it came with, this is the like for like change. Fellowes quote 99.97% capture for the HEPA portion at particle sizes as small as 0.3 microns, and say the activated carbon reduces odours and VOCs. They also list an antimicrobial treatment for the HEPA side, quoted in full in our specifications, without naming an agent or test standard.
With Fellowes quoting a one year life that varies with use, an annual change is a sensible default. One filter per pack. Our title gives 50mm, while Fellowes list the item at 1.875 inch deep. Rooms with a particular dust or odour problem can switch to the all True HEPA or full carbon AM 2 filter instead.
