An All Carbon Filter for the Compact AM 2
Fellowes 9544601 is a single full carbon filter for the AeraMax Pro AM 2, an alternative to the standard hybrid filter for rooms where odour is the bigger problem than dust.
Fellowes say the activated carbon filter reduces odours and VOCs, and in their short description they add that it contains twice the activated carbon. Fellowes name the hybrid filter, half True HEPA and half carbon, as the AM 2 standard configuration; swapping to this full carbon filter shifts the purifier towards odour and volatile organic compounds. Good candidates are washrooms, kitchenettes, small staff rooms, cleaners' cupboards and storerooms with strong smells.
Expect around a year from it, per Fellowes, with heavier use shortening that; there is one filter per box. Fellowes give the depth as 1.875 inch, where our title says 50mm. If you rely on particle filtering in the same room, keep the hybrid or True HEPA filter in use instead.
Washroom and kitchen sites can stock up from breakroom and kitchen; purifiers are in air purifiers, and the brand in Fellowes.
